Air pressure on drag radials? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just looking to get a starting point with pressure on my 18" M and H drag radials. I have never used them so any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been told to start around 16 psi and then after the burnout they should be about 18 psi. Sound right? They are on an A6 that makes 545 / 555 at the wheels. Im hoping they work.

Mine are the M&H 275/45r18 and i run 18 psi. It runs a 11.66 in the qtr. Also an a6 but with a YANK ss3200 converter

That was nov 09 times. Since then i have put in a mast motorsports stage 1 cam and valvetrain upgrades so i'll be going to the track in the next couple weeks.

I ran 20 psi in my ZL550 on 20" Nitto 555r. seemed to hook up pretty good. Also A6 car said to have 550HP at crank have not had on dyno yet.

I ended up going with 17.5 psi and it hooked everytime. 1.6 60's. Next time I will try some different pressures.
