Track Day at Pocono Int'l Raceway

A car club I belong to is doing a track day on July 9th at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA. It is a one day high performance driving event. It is on the North Course. Please go online to check out the track (www.poconoraceway.com). Pocono North is a 1.5 mile multiple turn race course.

If you are interested in driving your Camaro at speed on a race track and you live close enough to attend, we would welcome you and your car. This is one of the most thrilling things you can do with your car.

A few of our members own Camaros so we should have a nice mix of cars including Mustangs, Vetts, Vipers, Porsches and others in attendance. No special prep is required to your Camaro. We do require a tech inspection prior to the event and we perform a brief tech inspection at the track.

We usually have 5 run groups ranging from novice to instructors and have openings in all 5 run groups as of now, but slots fill up fast. We especially fill up fast in the novice groups (can take about 20 cars each group max).

You can register online at www.clubregistration.net. You need to register and give your high performance driving experience (if any, and no prior experience is required). After you register, please search "Jersey Shore Region, Porsche Club of America" and register for the July 9th event. We are also holding a 2 day event at New Jersey Motorsports park in August if you have an interest in that event.
