Are stock hoods fiberglass?
Was at the Vancouver International Auto Show on the weekend and noticed that the SS Camaro hood felt like fibreglass.
Are the Gen5 hoods fibreglass? Probably been answered before, but it's too generic a thing to search for and I couldn't find it. Thanks, Tom |

No Avalnch they are not fiber glass. the hoods are made of aluminum

The white powder on them is corrosion..... same a s rust on A-36 (carbon steel).
