Bumblebee Package? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anybody know if the Bumblebee package will be available at launch, and will it be the Yellow we've seen with black stripes from the factory. Or a special yellow, like the movie, with black stripes. If anyone knows any details about the package please share!

all indications are that this will be later towards the launch of the next movie. not the launch of the car

Ok...so next March ?

thats when the next movie is suppose to be released last I heard.

Unless they moved up the date of the movie release, it doesn't come out until June 26th.

Do you think it will be posible to just by the car at launch and then when the package becomes available, you could take you car back to the dealer and have it done? Or just wait and just order the car with the package on it?

any of this kinda stuff you should be able to get as a dealer install, ofcourse it would probably be matched to the yellow on your car not the yellow(if they change it specially for the bumblebee package) for bumblebee.

we dont know yet, but we do know its coming around the time of the movies release.

It turns it into a giant alien robot with cannons.

Um, unless GM stopped listening to us when we did the poll about the things we were disappointed with about the new Camaro.

Just to let you guys know, that was one of the biggest points I made to Scott, Al and John over the weekend. I was in John Fitzpatricks face so much about that I am sure he resented it.

I simply made the point about how much of an impact the Smokey and the Bandit series of movies made on me as a young impressionable kid and that I dreamed about someday owning a SE T/A. Many people my age became GM buyers because we idolized that car.

Fast forward to today - history repeats itself and GM would be stupid not to capitalize on the popularity of Bumblebee. Kids all over town would be all over a Bumblebee edition car and given the opportuinity to purchase one, I would be the coolest dad in the city!
