Can the hurst short throw void warranty ? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Simple question.have to bring in my car tommorow morning for an engine oil leak, car has 1400km on it !!!!! wtf.Only aftermarket part i have on my car is the hurst short throw.
Can they say or do anything to my warranty with that installed?

Dealer called !
Transmission output shaft seal failure, questioened my hurst install and asked if tranny had to be lowered i said hell no..
he said ok no prob.
car will be out til next monday cause part unavailable , have to fed-ex it from the states....
And the story begins .................................................

I would not think so as your oil leak has notta todo with the tranny. my .02

wouldnt think so but you guys have a different warranty up there

***UPDATE****
Brought her in this morning for an oil leak in the front end.Talked to my service technician and he said nahh hell no, dont worry about the hurst its just a stick and has nothing to do with tranny internals.
Then i acquired as too c.a.i and he answered as long as its gmpp no issues.But aftermarket is a no-no.
Thats the official word from my dealer who sold me the car.
