There are a few us with longtubes and hiflows, but no one with the BBKs that I'm aware of. Blade and I both have American Racing Headers long tubes and cats, PieNsky has Stainless Works version. With long tubes and hiflows, you will feel a difference.

Cost depends on which manufacturer you go with. Each manufacturer has their own materials they use, BBK uses Stainless Steel mixed in with some aluminum piping, ARH is full aluminum. Price also depends on the side of the pipes and how they built them. ARH makes them built to order, so I call they make em and send them out. BBK has them mass produced because they supply retail stores with their products. Mass production will keep costs down, but it can also increase a chance of defects.

I paid a bundle for the ARHs, but I am finding it to be well worth the cost. The install hasn't been cheap either because of my unique install issues.

So what are you number looking like now with the additions you've made?

I have SW longs, hi flows and mbrp exhaust... very noticable increase. Nice sound change as well. If you dont mind the cash, 100% worth it.

Dyno day it was done was 276rwhp and 248ft-lb of torque, according to the third gear pull done in Indy. Before the longtubes, same dyno, I was at 259rwhp and 237ft-lb of torque, again third gear. After long tubes, before tune, 275rwhp and 246ft-lb of torque.

The longtubes/hiflows will definitely add horsepower and torque. Of that, there is no doubt, lol.

One more question if I may, Do you need to do a tune to make it work right? I've heard of Check Engine issues and the possibilty that the current tone doesn't know how to handle the upgrades naturally

A tune will optimize the setup, and if your car is an auto, like mine, will tweak the tranny as well. If your car is a manual, the tune is mostly to make sure AFR/timing stays where it needs to be and help keep CELs from popping up.

The ECU in the car is pretty darn adaptive, but can use the help, lol!
