New pistol grip shifter for autos PICS!!!!!!!!!

Since Barton Industries has announced them, I will give some info and Impressions. I was given the opportunity to test mule Barton's new automatic pistol grip style shift unit that replaces the 19th century dildo that we have presently. It replaces all the working parts of the present knob with billet aluminum parts. There is no shift release button, you simply push down on the grip to engage/disengage. I tested the final version with them and it is awesome. Looks great, feels solid and like it was meant to be there in the first place. The knob/grip is similar to their pistol grip manual knob but it stops there. They did the R&D specifically for the automatic to maximize ergonomics. http://bartonindustries.com/ They are available now on their site for only $99.

Nice. I've interacted with Barton Industries a bit (I plan on ordering one of their short throw shifters in the july/august timeframe once I get my camaro) and they really are a top notch organization.

Will one say LT/RS? Maybe 304/312 HP? lmao...

Anyway, can't wait to see the finalized version. I seriously want to replace the knob in PacMan.

This is pretty cool. How hard is it to swap them out with the old one?

I plan on picking one of these up at the fest. hopefully they have a little cheaper price than the manual ones on their website. 75 is a little steep.

Marley- It will be a little bit more then the manual knob. There are 3 pieces that have to be machined. If it was just the knob then yeah It would be steep.

Scrming- YES, FREE INSTALLS ON ALL KNOBS
