How much did everyone pay to have there windows tinted? I was given a price of $160. Is that about right or to much? Thanks

That's a good price depending on the quaility.

I paid $220 for the life time stuff. Thats what the shop called it. Its just a little thicker. The other tint was $180.
I could feel the diffference so I spent a little more as I will have this car for a lifetime. plus they do warrant it if it tears or starts coming off for as long as I own the car.

I paid $220 for all 5 windows with 23% with a lifetime warranty. After a week of letting it set, little bubbles were scattered throughout all the windows. Took it back into the shop and now I have another appt for Tuesday for them to re-do the whole thing. It pays to have the lifetime warranty, just for the piece of mind for later on. Hopefully they get it right this time...

If I don't get mine done soon I'm going to be melting in a few months!

I'm just nervous about the connections to the back glass getting screwed up.

A good tint shop won't do any harm to your rear window connections. I paid 217 for a lifetime warranty of pro-line tint film. 35 on rear three windows and 55 on front two windows (california tint laws suck). The shop did an AMAZING job and they even give a guarantee if I get a ticket they will remove it for free and replace it with legal tint for half price.

Precut tint for the whole car is less than $30 on ebaymotors.

by the way, tinting the back window is a PITA....remove the back seat, side panels, package shelf and speakers to do it right.

Just did mine this week... it was $195 for 20% all around, 3M lifetime warranty tint.
