Anyone recognize the stealthbox in my car? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

This was in the car when I bought it used. Not really sure who made it but it's obviously well done. It fits nice and snug and is pretty easy to wiggle out if I need it out.

The amp was gone so I added the Kenwood and it's obviously a little different than what was in there because the wires are a little too short to hide properly. I need to get a longer ground wire and cut a slot in the mounting board and it will be hidden well.

I like the sound but it does cut down on the space some. I'm thinking of relocating the amp to underneath the package tray between the factory speakers.

Yep, that's one of mine bro. The box, sub, amp rack and wiring kit that is. The only thing that didn't come from me is the kenwood amp. I bet it sounds pretty nice too.

It sounds good. Like I said, the original amp was gone. I'm sure someone from the dealership needed it when the car was traded in. I like the Kenwood but you can tell whatever amp you had with the kit, had wiring connections in a different spot. The ground wire is a little too short for this amp and I can't run it all the way under the trunk mat.

The car was bought new in Sept. and the original owner was from somewhere around West Texas I believe. They didn't drive it much. It had 3800 miles on it when I got it a month ago.

Also. Steve, can you tell me anything about that bracket that you can see on the amp rack? Is that where it's supposed to be? Looks out of place there. I wasn't sure if there's something missing or not. It's a little loose back there and that's the only thing attaching it to the car.

Yes. There should be another bracket at the top near the front. Also the cover plate is missing.

Yes there is another bracket as well. What's the cover plate? What does it cover? Do you sell those seperately?

The cover plate covers over the amp and wiring and you can trim it out to the design of your liking. I suppose we could sell one separately. Haven't needed to since it comes with the amp rack. Evidently the previous owner kept it along with the original amp. Contact get with me if you'd like one

You may want to look at the speaker grill that Steve/******** sells also. About $20.
