The only gloves I've ever used were fingerless biker gloves, and then I only used 'em in the middle of summer when my T/A's wheel was White Hot when it was parked out in the sun!

I have been using Mechanics Gloves! Pick them up at Lows/Home depo
Around $15 to $30

Use them while Road racing and have been using them Off-Road for years.

Cut the finger tips off, or buy fingerless ones

Got to agree with rod. You would look like a total tool if you got out of the car with your driving gloves on, unless you speak with a British accent of course.

Or maybe if you take a ride in the Hot Tub Time Machine and head back to the 80s. Other wise just say no to driving gloves, if not for yourself then for every other Camaro driver out there that you represent.
