Boston Accoustics Upgrade - Free to ALL
Go to your dealer and refer to Service Bulletin 09-08-44-021A. If the customer complains of distortion in the front door speakers, Chevy provides, at no cost, an upgraded amplifier and new front door spearkers. Not the best, but made a huge difference in mine

Me too. I've noticed some distortion but it sounded like the rear speaker.

Mine sounded like the passenger door speaker was blown, but the dealer said it was normal. However, they led me with questions and helped to say the right words... "the speakers sound distorted".
No clue why they did the amplifier as well, but hey, I'm not one to say no for free stuff :-) |

I'm before the breakpoint, but i don't think ive had this problem. Although I only usually have bass turned up to 6-8 and Volume to 25. Maybe the distortion happens at higher levels.
