So I popped open my hood today and took off my Vararam to trim off some more of the wicker-bill. I did everything I had to and then decided to wipe some of the dust off around the engine bay. Well, I begin on the drivers side, I work towards the front and then to the passenger side and see this on my headers..

Im like OMG WTF IS THAT!?!?!??!

So I get in closer....

Now Im like.. OK is one of hoses leaking?? Why does that look like bird $h*t!??

Im looking at this like HOW?!?! How the hell did I get bird crap all over my headers?!?! I dont drive with the hood open, and I havent had the hood open long enough for that to happen since I installed the Dynatechs/Vararam, and I know this wasnt there when I put in my 2nd VR unit!!

Then I look a little further down the pipes with a flashlight and see this.....

What a horrible death, charred by my Dynatechs!

Any tips on how to clean it off?

I wiped it using some water, got all the crap off but some of the bird wont come off...

Death by headers!

Try simple green, if that isnt hard enough break out some paint thinner..

how about one of those small wire brushes about the size of a tooth brush.

I thought about some steel wool, but Im trying to avoid scratching up the headers

They make nylon brushes too..That and the thinner or some sort of solvent should fix it up.
