Only getting 4 miles per gallon!

At the drag strip that is. It's totaly worth it though to take this thing wide open throttle!

14.08 was my best. I still have a lot of work to do getting the launch down. Should be able to shave close to a second off of that.

Easily man. Just keep practicing.

What was the mph if I might ask, also the 60ft?

Damn you're lucky. I went through a half tank of gas, approx. 2r runs.

24/4 = 6 miles.

Half a tank in 6 miles.

Do the math lol.

When I first got my 5.0 I averaged 7mpg and that was just driving on the street to school and crap.

15.4 gallons of gas would get me 120 miles.

Man tell me about.

My computer is saying I'm hitting 14.2mpg, but it's BS. I've started an experiment this week of filling up each day with $15 at around 10am~, and only driving where I have to (Campus, groceries, library -- I love about two miles or so away from all these installations) and every single day I run out of gas by the time I wake up at 530am and get to PT...

But I guess tapshifting and driving around in high rpm to just accelerate for fun doesn't help

Young and dumb my friend. That was me.

It didn't take long to learn to stay off the gas pedal though. Was to expensive to drive and that was when premium gas was still under $1 a gallon.

Hmmm, I believe my top speed was 106.8, 60ft times were between 2.3 and 2.5. I think if I can get that down to 2 seconds or slightly less I should be able to do lower 13s

I couldn't imagine with gas prices today. Although even with my 2000 GT it is a low mileage car. I drove it 2 times last year. :(

If you get the 60s lower you'll hit low 13s easy, maybe even break into the 12s.
