Widening the stock rims: Quotes needed

I'm looking into widening my stock front Rims from 8" to 10.5". I want to leave the rear ones at 9" as they will be going on the front.

Ive never had this done, but i have an idea on how it works after reading some threads on here.

Vendors, please send me PM with some quotes. Please send quotes with shipping to and from 62856.

If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Andy at ADM has some already done on the shelf. He does an exchange program.
I believe he sells them with/without pirelli tires to match what you have....

PM Gary's custom's. AKA orange10s.c.

He does the same thing. Might be able to compare prices with ADM.

You can check with Weldcraft in Mo. i think or Vaughn Machining in southern Ca. They actually do the widening them selves. Just got my set back (rears) from Vaughn from being widened to 10 1/2" and put brand new 315 NT05R's on them (heat cycled) each wheel required less weight than the factory tire/wheel combo.

BLWN SS, do you mind answering a few questions regarding Vaughn?

1) How long did it take them to complete your rims?
2) Did you have to install longer lug studs to accomodate the spacer?
3) Any problems with balance at higher speeds?

Thanks a bunch!

No problem - It took about 2 weeks, he told me it would take 3. I used 1/4" spacers so did not need longer studs. The amount of weights required to balance the rims and new tires are about the same (or less) than are on my stock wheels & tires. I've ran up to about 120 mph in the quarter mile and they are very stable, no vibrations.

This is the first set I have had widened so I am no expert but I will say to me it looks like a very high quality job. The welds are picture perfect. I dont think anyone would be disappointed in their work. I have gotten a lot of positive comments at the track from people who have looked at them.
