Diablo Question

When you install the performance tune does it matter if the key is in position 1 or 2 (with motor off)? Position 1 is just power and 2 is warning lights and gauges working/on

Reason I ask is because I installed the performance tune for 1st time, It asked to backup so I did, Then the next day the car seemed really slow so I reinstalled the tune and realized I had been turning the key to position 1 not 2 and now after installing the perf tune with key in position 2 it seems to have made a difference BUT I have to take my car to the dealership to replace the gauges (they stained the plastic with something and are replacing it) and need to install original backup which may not be original if it wasn't done right...

I have no clue and am worried I screwed something up or if the dealership tries to install a CPU upgrade on top of my tune it will fry something.
Thanks in advance for any help/advice

dealer adding to the cpu will not fry anything or disturb your installed tune. However, if you are worried about losing the warranty you may want to go back to stock tune. The answer to the key position is correct if position 2 is on but not started. The key position is spelled out pretty clearly in the instructions. hope this helps

OK thanks. Yea I read the manual but somehow didn't pay attention when I did it. Man its funny too cause I was all nervous and went extremely slow as to NOT make a mistake but I did anyway..
