Hood Louvers?? yay or nay
What do you guys/ladies think about hood louvers on the c5 camaro? Replicating first gen styling. I like the idea, but would like some other opinions and input on this!

I have seen some pics here on C5....... I personally didn't care for them.

I have seen pics of a few cars with them installed... and I agree, don't do it.

I don't care for them. In the end it is up to you..... do you like them?
To me they are in the same boat as the door that raise up instead of out. Just plain odd.

Here's what I found. Considering this camaro was sort of based and styled off the first gen, some of the accents should possibly be an option. IE original ss emblems, gill louvers, hood louvers. Retrousa.net carries some of this, IMO bumpers may be over the top..

I did order RetroUSA's side gill louvers - expect to receive them in May.

NO on all but the gill trim, but not for the $199 they are asking for 2 pieces of ABS plastic with Vinyl overlays... For that kind of construction they shouldn't be more than $50....
