L/T headers, hi-flow cats and stock resonator. will I have exhuast drone?

as the title says.

I have an L99 with L/T headers (with hi flow cats) and the stock resonator. I'm thinking about deleting my mufflers but I don't want to deal with any exhaust drone.

I've heard I'll be okay as long as I keep my resonator on. is this true?

Resonator will quiet it down a bit...don't know if it'll be the sound you're looking for however.

Dig this and let me know what you think:

WIth a body like that you should have no drone what so ever.

Sorry, a bit distracted. I put Kooks LTs & high flow in front of my stock exhaust and no drone. Just a pleasant purr until you get on it. Of course that is with AFM diabled, with AFM on there were some very anoying sounds.

Every car is different. Because drone is a resonance, only one way to find out is to give it a try. I've seen the exact same exhaust set up drone like crazy on one car and not on another. Best bet is to use a complete set up with the least complaints.

I've never heard of a LT header/L99 resonator/no muffler combo.

Piecing together parts of the OE system and parts from several other set ups, the results are often something that eventually gets thrown in the trash.

Are you planning on turning off AFM with tuning? If not, I wouldn't touch the exhaust.
