Question Exhaust HELP... :) opinions?

Hey guys,
I'm 17 years old and looking to buy muffler/exhaust for my V6. I want something that has the growl and rumble of a V8, like a roar. Something that makes sound at all RPM's but i can still manage to come home at 2am and not wake up my parents or neighbors :P .... my dad has a plymouth prowler and i love how it sounds and its also a V6, anything similar to that? I also dont want to spend over 500-600 TOPS. Your opinions are much appreciated.
Thanks!!

For $600 I don't think you'll be able to break into the cat-back market, at least not that I can think of. So definitely this is the premier axle-back system that I have heard.

version 1 is more in your face loud and aggressive. Version 2 is a bit more refined, slightly lower tone and smoother when you want it to be, but still aggressive when you get on it. I really think you should go for version 2 over 1.

OH...and as I always point out to people with your question...go here for my V6 exhaust sticky thread. You can find examples of the MRT systems there....and many many more. Good luck.

There are a couple of cat-backs in that price range, but they aren't stainless. Cherry Bomb's new one right off the top of my head.

Well....as you might have guessed, the cat-back system replaces everything come the catalytic converters back to the tips. The axle back system replaces only from the rear axle back.

From my limited understanding, the axle-back is primarily a sound thing, whereas the cat-back will improve performance, albeit very slightly, and also sound.

In my opinion, for your budget, you really need to go axle-back. It's better to have a great quality axle-back system like the MRT2.0 than a lower-end cat-back.

Now, the "Pope" of us V6ers, Scrming, has the MRT2.0 on his car, so maybe that means that you really don't need a cat-back system on this car, even though I do and a ton of other members do as well.

Just my .02 though, I'm sure you will get many different opinions.

I have two kits available from Cherry Bomb for the V6 2010 Camaro. The Axle-back system can be viewed and ordered here for $348.75. Link: http://www.performanceexhaustplus.co..._category.html

The cat-back system lists for $888. but I'll sell it you within your budget range - $500.http://www.performanceexhaustplus.co..._category.html

These kits include the Pro Series mufflers and I haven't been able to find a sound clip for them. Orders include FREE shipping. Let me know if you have any other questions.
