I have read alot about people puling fuses for various reasons. Mainly to remap something. Question is what is this used for? and what fuse would you pull and for how long?

Thanks

Do a search for "fuse pull".You'l find the explanations.
The computer has a "learning ability that constantly adjusts for your driving style and measures the fuel you use via a knock sensor. It adjusts LTFT & STFT Lon term/short term fuel trim.
If you use regular instead of premium it will detect 'knock' under load and adjust the timimg and fuel to prevent it. This costs you probably a coule of horsepower.
It was argued by a few people with engine analyzers that for some reason ome camaros would not relearn if tey were on premium.
The fuse pull makes the ECM (computer ) forget and start from scratch.
hope this helps.
So to regain max HP
