1st in weight class...... WINNER, congrats hrpiii

Here's our very own C5 he-man (beefcake to me) hrpiii winning the competition he has been training for. He took time out of training to attend the C5 Fest and still was able to kick a$$ and take names.

Congrats beefcake, I was rooting for you.

His weights were squatting 550, benched 445, and deadlifted 600 lbs. The squats and deadlifts were his personal bests in a meet.

He won his weight class at 231lbs. which is amazing to be sure.

Here are his winning lifts. CONGRATS from me hrpiii, hope I can do half as well in August.

Thanks Bonnie, and everyone. I was a little scared all the fun and partying at C5Fest would hurt me a little in the contest. But all that relaxing may have actually helped me recover from some intense training the past several months. I did have a hurt shoulder in the contest, so that bench was much more impressive than it looked (last year I benched 465 lbs, and wanted to get 485 lbs this year.. but that injury slowed me down). I appreciate the support gang, and I was glad to represent the C5 crew.

Bonnie, now there is your motivatioin to go do your thing. I'm pulling for you!! I know your training and 'special' dieting is going to start soon. I would take my type of training over yours any day. Yours is MUCH MUCH harder!! I know what it takes, and I'm pulling for you.

If you do have any questions, please keep me in mind, I may know a little about this stuff.

Congrats big boy. Quick question how much can you max on squats? I can get 505lbs but thats my max. I weigh 201 so I know that 30 lbs more muscle can put out way more. Bench numbers are very impressive brother. Once again congrats.

PS I love the Sumo grip you got going on with the deadlift. No better way to go.lol
