Question - Gill Inserts Different Lengths?

Question -

Are the vinyl gill inserts that the various shops sell supposed to be slightly different lengths, therefore, each one in the set specifically going to a specific gill on the car?

Or are all the gills the same length, and the 3 you get in a vinyl set all the same?

I installed them exactly as they were positioned on there backing. But that is a good question. I installed the fade to black vinyl gills.



They give more of a shadow effect, IMO

I think they were different lengths but I used a power tool I have, 10 lb sledge, to adjust them. I then custom cut the inserts from high quality duct tape. It looks gooder now....

PS Use caution with the duct tape.... I was stuck to the gills for a good half hour before help arrived.

Thanks guys. Pretty sure my installer swapped 2 around. Center seems longer somehow. Wanted to see if it was blatent sloppyness or a mix up with the lengths.
