maggie vs vortech
yes im opening that pandora's box
really vortech mentions via website 525hp plus I see maggie guys say 540hp plus what is the true power at the wheels and diffences in the two other the apperence of the giant maggie blower sitting on top of your motor. where as the vortech is a bit incognito ive done exhaust rockers cai tune pulley ported and polished head putting out 443rwhp |

This ones gonna start something!
IMO it depends on who tunes either one. I have the vortech and we put the 3.33 pulley on it to make up for altitude issues, its 562 corrected at the wheels but would have been less out of the box! Maggie is prettier if that's what you want. Maggie makes its power down low, Vortech up high. End of my opinion! |

Both are high quality pieces. Maggie looks more natural in the engine bay (in my opinion)....less piping etc... Real simple. Makes more power down low, so you get more of that put you in the back of your seat feeling driving around on the street. Vortech will give you a little more top end power. Can't go wrong with either one though. Just depends on where you want your grunt.
