Paint lifting at corner of windshield

Found this today over the driver's side corner of the windshield...Car is only 2.5 mos old. Looks like maybe there was contamination on the surface during paint and it bubbled a little. Plan to take it in for a touch up/repaint there. Guess I can ask the body shop to also fix the small chip I found over the pass. rear fender lip.

Man that looks bad. Is that rust? It's hard to tell from the pic being so blurry.

Not that I can tell...doesn't appear to be corrosion, more like contaminants under the paint...you can also see a few specs up further a couple inches, along side the ditch molding. This photo may turn out better.

Quick Update:

Ok, got the car home from the dealer's body shop and he fixed this spot ok, blended well, clear coat good, no issues. Also had them fix a chip on RR quarter panel fender lip, that I paid out of pocket for, $200. Not just touch up paint, but an actual spot repair with paint/clear. After getting it home and looking at it in the shade I noticed the color match was good, but there were several runs in the clear that were hard to see in the bright daylight. Also very swirled...and having the Adams stuff and the PC at home, the rest of the car does not have swirls like this.

I brought it back today after lunch to have them buff out the runs and swirls, the guy takes it back in the bay no problem, 20 minutes later he and the scheduling manager come out to tell me "bad news...we burned through the factory clear coat in a spot and need to repaint it." We're headed out for a weekend road trip today to a bike rally. So now I get to drive the scuffed up Camaro all weekend instead of the fixed up shiny one.

He was extremely sorry about it and I give him credit for coming out to speak to me personally about the issue, but it still bummed me out. Goes back to them on Monday for one more try to get it right.

Is it just me? Do I have standards higher than most? I can imagine this kind of paint often makes its way onto a customer's car and they either don't notice or don't care that it's not exactly perfect...but that isn't me. This is at least the 3rd time I've had body work/repaint done and the vehicle had to be reworked more than once to get it right. Three different places in three states on three different cars.

I also have a few bubbles in the tint I recently had done and also in the clear bra I had applied at the same time. Taking it in next week for rework. Really, just me? Sorry this has become a bitch session. Venting...blah.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Waco, i dont know what to tell you. A lot of people suck at their jobs. I dont know if its because they just dont have the skills, don't care, or the company is pushing them to get the cars/work done that they have to half ass it. I am actually probably thinking its the company forcing them to get the car in and out.

Ok, second time around they did alright, paint looks fine, but may still need to hit it with the PC and some FMP to really get it perfect. Also some polish residue against the edge of my clear bra on the gills. They also gave me 2 free car washes through their touchless car wash for having to come back. Nice people for sure, just hope I don't have to deal with that kind of trauma again over a silly chip.
