Is there anyway to buy the boston accoustic system online?
I have the standard one right now after having a bose audio in my RX8.
The standard audio is killing my driving mood. |

Save your money for a better system, the BA is average at best. I have one, and it is the least favorite part of my Camaro.

Yeah but it is only $500 dollars and twice as better. If I upgrade with after-market equipment I'm looking at much more than that...

The BA system is not twice as good. it is slightly better than the base system. I have not been able to find if the system comes with all the necessary wiring. plus by the time you pay the dealer to install this system you will probably be closer to 900 or 1000 with parts and labor. for thatr you can buy and have installed a much better system, and may even get a sub included in that.

I'm sure someone with a BA system is willing to sell it. I would not consider this unit at GM dealer prices. Maybe watch the salvage yards too.
Mine BA system is coming out but, I will save for resale value of the car. |

Correct me if I'm wrong.........Everyone gets the same head unit. The BA "upgrade" or "system" is only higher end speakers with a small amp.....the head unit itself is the same on every Camaro.

Not quite. The headunit in the BA system is what is referred to as a dead head, it outputs no power, it needs the amp that comes separate in the BA system. In the standard system, the headunit is the amp, it powers the speakers with an internal amplification system.
