Scratch in glass?
I did a search, and could not find anything relating to this, so here goes.
I few days ago I noticed a small scratch in my windshield (right in my eye-line) at first I thought it was just a smear or some other non permanent mark, so I was not to concerned, but this morning when I tried to clean it, it turned out to be a small scratch, it is about 3/4 of an inch long, and definitely is a scratch, not a crack, but a very fine scratch. Can something like this be polished out? Any hints or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

can you feel it with your fingertip? does it feel like it is above or below the glass?
start with a claybar and detail spray. give it a lot of elbow grease. if that doesn't get it off, find a good windhiled repair place and it will probably be covered under insurance to have filled in to prevent cracking.

Thanks RedJewel, I will start there... (Kind of ironic, I just picked up my clay to get ready to clay the car)
