Trim Release tool/Aux Gauge Pack

Hi Guys,

I just recieved my Auxiliary cluster gauge pack today. I was reading over the instructions, and something concerns me. It asks for me to use a Trim Removal tool, and Special Service tool (J42059). Are these the same thing? Do i have to order them?

Anyway, thanks in advance =D If anyone has installed their own Gauge clusters, i would appreciate it if you could help =D

Thanks alot!

Dont need em...just use your fingers to gently pop up the trim from the front then work the side...comes up real easy.

The tool is to remove the lighter and socket, but flip the console over and use your fingers to push/squeeze in the two black plastic "snap clips" that are obvious and it will all easily slide out.

You don't absolutely need a trim removal tool but if you want one you can get a whole set from Harbor Freight for $5.99.
