Has anybody that was involved with the LS7 wheels group buy had any luck getting their deposit back? I'm not sure how many opted out. I did because the new design doesn't look anything like the LS7 wheel in my opinion. It kind of reminds me of the late 80's Iroc wheels. However, I have had no luck in getting my deposit....just words. In addition from not caring for how they just inverted the spokes, I'm fed up with the amount of time that I've wasted getting jerked around.

Well I had a PM stating that my deposit would be refunded on 4/18, and an email saying that it was processed on 5/8. I finally filed a dispute with the CC company. I got my deposit back the same day I faxed copies of the original group buy post, the PM, emails, and pics of the old/new design to the CC folks....coincidence??? Maybe, I'll have to give the CC folks a call to find out.

UPDATE:

I received the notification from the credit folks today. My refund was actually a result of ICONZ refunding the deposit. I'll give them props for that...a little honesty about the time frame wouldn't have left me with a negative opinion. I know you can't respond Mitch, but an email with BS threats will not get you any response from me. By the way, libel not slander was the word you were looking for. The fact is you told me the refund would be done on 4/18. There was no mention of you waiting for the manufacturer giving you a refund. I still have the message.

Got my refund from Iconz about two weeks after requesting it. I only had to ask once. I would consider trying to do business with Mitch again.

I got my deposit back without issue. I gave him the benefit of waiting until the new CAD drawing of the wheel was completed. I saw the new design but didn't like it enough to commit. To be honest it isn't too bad, it's better than most other wheels out there now.

Mitch has had his issues but always seems to come though. He is no longer on the forum but if anyone has any interest let me know since I talk to him once in a while and sell his wheels.

"The latest email I have from Dan clarifies that, like many 2-piece wheels, Iconz uses cast barrels and they are the same barrels used by Asanti and Lexani."

Ive searched alot about Iconz and the Mod City i think its run by the father and both son's that work out of there garage. They just sub-orders from the manufacture and just drop ship

wow! not sure where you get your information, but you couldn't be more wrong. iconz might have a warehouse, but themodcity was always run out of a garage as the other posted mentioned.. you must be new to the industry.. learn something then come back
