Official Poll To Have Leather Added As An Option!*

Ok so I ordered the 2SS/RS and I was looking over what I get, well some of that stuff I am in no need of. I like how the boston acoustics is an option...

I want to switch to a 1SS but I WANT leather with that SS stitched in it!!

So like the other polls we have going, please voice up if you would like the 1SS to have the option of adding that leather!

I think it'd be nice to have it as an option. I don't really like all these packages that many companies offer because I don't always want everything in that package. Regardless, I couldn't see how this would hurt, although, I'm not sure of it's practicality. I voted "Yes" though

I was really sad when I learned I couldn't get leather and the ambient lighting package on the 1SS, especially after I saw the price tag on the 2SS and knew there was no way in hell I could afford it. I agree 100% it should be optional on the 1SS. I think the interior package and the connectivity package should have been seperated instead of lumped together with a $4k pricetag (Over the 1SS). I bet there are a ton of people out there like me that want leather and the lighting package, but are not at all interetested in anythng else that comes with the 2SS. GM is making me choose between V8 rumble and a nice interior......and that is Maybe I'll just go buy a G8 GT where I can get both without paying the extra $$$$$.

Good news is I don't plan on buying until about this time next year, so hopefully Scott and some of the others will read this thread and make it happen by then.

I voted YES because I think GM really dropped the ball on some of the options (No Blue SS, No HUD, etc.) so I feel for you guys!

I would like to see leather as an option on 1SS WITHOUT the heated seats. I can do without the remote start as well. I live in the South, that stuff is extra weight and expense for things I WILL VIRTUALLY NEVER USE.

I can afford the 2SS, but what I'd really like is a 1SS with leather, 4pack gauges (I can add), 9spkr system. I can live without the rest of the 2SS stuff--No heated seats, heated mirrors, no remote start, no 'connectivity tooth pkg', etc.

I think it'd be great to have those things as an option so I voted yes.

I'm always up for choices.

Also, I think you should change the poll answers. Instead of "No, I don't care for it." It should be "No, I don't care for it and I don't want anyone to have choices."

If the case weren't for something reasonable like leather, but for something ridiculous like 34inch rims, I'd still vote yes. It's an option. Some people will want it. You don't have to get it.

*From the pricing thread*

I really believe the leather option should be a stand-alone option and not part of the 2LT or 2SS. It's like a basic right to be able to add leather individually (yes, it comes with the ambient lighting) without having to upgrade to every bell and whistle.
