hey all... while I wait for my car to arrive, I want to plan for and price out my low hanging fruit (CAI, Tint, Wheels, etc...)

So, I figured where better to ask about local tint shops than here in the PNW forum.

I live in Camas/Washougal but grew up in Hillsboro, so I am fairly familiar with the area.

Bought the car from Carr Chevrolet.

Where did you get your tint done and what did it cost? Would you recommend the shop you went to?

I have not done my tint yet, but Ultimate Window Tinting on 99th street quoted me $179.00. They did my Outback a few years ago and did a very good job.

Got mine done at Mike's Tint 1123 3rd Ave Longview, WA. 360-414-8131
He did a perfect job.....very happy. I'm using Wong's Performance Engineering in Vancouver for my headers, CAI and cam.

179 is cheap... do they have a warranty with the job? There used to be a place out here on the east side of Vancouver but they went out of business... so a warranty is only as good as the company doing the work, but its always a nice feeling. lol

I am pretty sure it comes with a lifetime warranty. They have been in business for quite a few years and they state they do jobs for some of the dealers in the area. I believe $179 is what they qouted me( I am getting old), but you might want to call to make sure.

Tommy's on 12 se in Portland have excellent reviews on Google. I think they wanted around 180. Lifetime guarantee. Don't quote me on the price.

You are correct sir, they did mine but it was like 239.00 cause I went with 3m. They will even replace on window for free if you ever damage it for any reason, such as scratching it or if somebody smashes it etc.

I am pretty sure they went out of business, at least at that location unless I am thinking of a different tint shop (which is entirely possible) but, I will look them up. Thanks!
