Special Thanks from TPE to WickedHP, on our KB build

We've been slammed in the shop doing 2 and 3 KB Camaro Builds side by side at a time.

But yesterday took the cake.. We had a dedicated customer (and Camaro5 member, CFCoates) drive all the way out from IA. This was about a 20 hour 1 way drive. He dropped the car off for a friday morning appointment, so we could run full tilt, and have him his car back on Saturday. we were doing a Kenne Bell 2.8 kit, installed and tuned.

Everything was going PERFECT until I realized that someone stole our HP Tuners software interface. For those of who who dont know, the HPT interface is what stores 100% of all of the licenses for the ability to tune cars. We have many years wrth of licenses, and over 10 grand worth of credits. Its credited for unlimited gen III, IV, and Gen V, cars and trucks.

Without this, we are literally dead i the water on vehicle tuning until I shell out the cash on Monday.

Well, we are ready to load the cars tune, and get her on the dyno, so we can get this customer on the road back to IA. After a 3 hour frantic search of our entire shop, the ONLY thing I could think of, was to call Cody of WickedHP, and beg him to lend me his interface.
Thankfully, he picked up the phone, and told me he was in the area at the races. So he said no prob. He would drop his other plans to help me out.

Well, then we found out that my interface is serial locked to my computer, so I could not use my laptop, or anything. This now meant he had to stay at my shop while we got the car finished tuned. Finally, about 3 hours later, the customer was extatic, we had finished the car, and Cody was now late to an appointment.

So I just wanted to publicly thank Cody from WickedHP, for helping us out of a MAJOR jam, and allowed us to still meet our deadline with our customer.

Hopefuly this is a lesson to other competing local shops. You dont need to have enemies just because you have the same business. WickedHP and TPE work excellent together, even when were literally in the same complex, and build the same cars..

THANK YOU CODY!!! We WILL pay it forward. If you ever need our help, we will dedicate 100% of our resources to help out in any way possible.

From the staff and ownership of TPE

Hey Jeff... I made it home!

I would also like to thank Cody once again for saving the day. Cody from WickedHP and everybody at TPE busted their asses making sure my build was done right, and completed it in record time.

And I only got pulled over once on my 1500 mile drive home.
