Dude that sucks. Sorry to see that. Hope you can get it fixed. I had a nail in mine not to long ago.

there is no fixing that... time for a new tire... or two if you have considerable wear. You want to make sure your tires have similar amounts of tread. You can probably get away with just getting 2. Fronts and backs wear differently... for obvious reasons.

I have just over 2000K on her, so I don't think wear will be an issue.

That is a concrete nail.
That would be laying flat on the road and I think you could drive over it all day with no problem. Any idea how it could have punctured the tire.
I am thinking someone wedged it under the tire when it was parked.
If someone was sick enough to do this they would choose a concrete nail because it doesn't bend like wood nails.

Damn, that's a good one...

Picked up a jackhammer spike in my Xtreme once. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how it had turned itself up to go thru my tire... It was rattling around in there until I took the wheel in for a new tire. After the guy asked me if I wanted to keep it. I'm all "It? What was 'it' that was in my tire??"

Looked kinda like this, but pointed, and shorter... Looked like maybe a special bit for specific jobs, but definitely a jackhammer bit. Was probably "8 in length.

I left Chili's and was notified my rear driver side tire was at 24 PSI....odd. So I pulled into a chevy dealer across the street preparing for the worst, hoping for the best. Then I saw the pointy, shiny, irritating object sticking out of my sidewall. Too bad the dealership was closed, I called around and only one tire shop was open in the area. I pulled over in a gas station, loaded the tire up (then at 19 PSI) and headed to the shop. They didn't have ANYTHING in stock to fit the rim, so they loaded it back up with air and I drove her to my dealership. She's sitting in the parking lot now because service wasn't open. I'll find out tomorrow how much/long it'll take to fix her back up.

McArney, they're stock 20's, painted black.

Most tire punctures happen to the rear tires. The front tire spins or flips the object just as the rear tire strikes it.

Not a good idea to patch a sidewall, especially with these high-performance beasts.
