Question Question about painting rear diffuser.....

I would love to paint my rear diffuser. Only problem is that when I took it in I was told they wouldn't paint it due to the fact it would chip very easily on that plastic. So my question is:
Would you guys recommend that I buy a fiber glass one or something similar that the paint will take to much better?

Thanks

Dragon is correct. Proper prep and materials will do the job. Chose a quality shop and have them explain how they are going to do it. post it here.
