Adam's pc problem need help!

Ok I have the My black rs all polished, all scratches removed except the stuborn rear bumber(maybe the front too, not there yet)! I can't get the scatches to disappear. I gone over a side section of the rear bumper 5 times with shr and fp. What gives? We have very high temps and high humidty, other than that everthing is the same. I do know bumper paint is different...flexiable paint. Could someone let me know the tecinque? I fought this car for my last two weekends...my paint was ruined with the Cost-alot-co yellow chine microfiber....yes the rear bumper has ton of scratches!! The rest of the car came out scratchless and corrected...very sweet can't wait for the machine wax! Also I ordered a Colgang black bra/mirror bras so I can run down the road with peace of mind. I live in MN so its either snow, bugs, or road construction. However I love pullin a side dump or belly dump trailer at those construction sites during the week! If anyone could help me I'd like to get this done before my 5 yr old Grandson comes at the end of the week....His first word was Car his second was GTO...he's a total car guy. When he gets bigger he said he wants a Bumble bee Camaro...he loves the new Camaro! Thanks!

I have a harder time with these areas as well on my black Camaro. I have tried to get the bumpers as nice as the rest but cannot seem to get them there. I figured it was because the surface is not secure like the other panels. Maybe the Junkman or one of the other pros will chime in.

Without seeing the exact damage I would go down to a 4" pad

I agree. I think your problem might be that you need to use the 4 inch focal pads instead of the big polishing pads. I know Adam's makes them and I'm sure a host of other companies do as well.

same type of light scratches that were all over the car...now gone but, 4" pad set for my pc works better for the camaro bumbers? Like I said light scratches not deep ones. So Junkman what up? I want to get this done. If ya be listonin let me know how to fix this so I can order stuff tonite, If I have a belly dumper's holiday....I'll have alittle more time other than my weekends

Are you going heavy on the pressure? Sometimes on the plastic bumpers less pressure than usual is needed. Its the fact that the plastic will bow when pressure is applied and the pad can't make consistent contact with the surface.

EXACTLY.

That's the way I do it. The kit comes with the adapter you need to attach the back plate and pads to the PC.

Next spring, you should not have to do a complete paint correction because you are supposed to be touching the car properly. A full paint correction should be a one time event, not an annual occurrence.

Your right Junkman one time correction if cared for properly...but I have Grand kid(and other kids kids kids)that loves cars and this one in perticular! Last deal of coarse he was way younger...not being watched closer by his Grandma or Mama, Which neither admit to not watching him He took his Hot Wheels car(s) and drove them across the trunk lid of my 50,000 dollar Goat....I was pissed at the Girls for not watching him...not him for doing it and fixed the problem. The morel of the storey? Sh*t Happens!!! I hope your right though But corrected paint care, once is enough and I'm glad to live by that too.

In your situation, I see more use of SHR than normal!
