Anyone have the rubber backyard pool?

Anyone have the rubber backyard pool?
Ya fil lthe top ring with air, fill it up and it just stands up on its own???

Ours is like 4 years old, this year it will not stand up on one side. it just wants to roll over and down. Where the other side is fine. Its standing up like it should.

Is this the end of the pool? Thought by now the top ring owuld of popped or something like that first.

Tried putting some bricks around around that side to get it started, but now its just rolling over them.

Sounds like maybe it is not level. We have had one for years, and no troubles with ours. Good luck.

Yea we started with bricks around the bottom to define the wall but once the water lvl got above them, it started to just roll over the top, though the other side of the pool is fine and filling right.

Its nice and lvl, 1st yr it wasn't but the 2nd we trucked in a bunch of sand n packed it lvl.

If we hadn't of done that, id seariously consider just diggin a big hole and making it a under ground pool

And it was just another hitch in the wagon as this year nothing went right.

Start to fill it and then it was leaking out of the filter hose port, coudln't find the gaskets to seal it up, then found more water leaking as the drain plug was never put back in, [2 hoses fillin it, 1 hose size hole draining it]
Then this and it was near full, wake up and its all leaned over, had to empty 90% of the water to try and fix it and its not working.

Kinda sad in a way if ya think about the folks who would kill for some clean cold water, and I let a hundred or so gallons of it lose into the already water logged lawn. [Though the dogs had fun for a min.]

Can't wait to see that water bill.

put 4 ratchet straps end to end wrape around the edge of the pool under the float ring and hook to 2 poles on the good side of the pools.

It isn't standing as high as it should, but its not falling over and n e ways 98% of its use is for floating.

Well it taken quiet a while to get a handle on the problem.

Cause it fills up fine to a point then goes over.

So we went with that, the ladies just use it for sunnin/floatin anyways.

OK so after a while it seemed to stablize and we added more n more water, well rain added allot.

Then it happened again once it got about 3/4 full but this time I noticed the outter air ring had a bunch of water in it, making the one side heavy pulling it over and draining water, ahh ha

No efforts would get it out though, not until enough water was out and it disapeard on its own.

FIll the ring bustin full of air and you can't finda single air bubble where it leaks.

Like once high enough the water pressure can force its way in but will drian out once low enough, but the leak isn't enough to show itself by air leaking.

It just can't be filled up beyond half way.

Does it always sag to the same side? If so, maybe try rotating it 180 degress after you empty it, and try again. I have never had any water in our float, and we keep the water level up on the float about 1-2" above the seam.

I did have a hose fitting drip on the wall of the pool, that I could not stop. I ordered the gaskets from the manufacturer, and changed it out while filled, by plugging the hole with a towel while working on it, until I could get the new gasket on the fitting and reinstalled. (make sure gasket is inside pool) I did it wrong ONCE. DUH.
:(

I suspect your pool is somehow streched out of shape, and you will have to get another.

Good luck.
