eddie, u should not need one. but it is a good idea to protect the melon . LOL ! WALMART should have something. or seco perforance in pc

to run most drag strips u need a dot helmet.

Yep, I'z goin! Unlikely I'll have my T/A back together, but Melissa's car is good to go. BTW, SECO in PC has closed.

Well....I was just about to post a thread to have a meet-up, get together either the second or third weekend of the month. I was thinking about a Saturday when we could meet, eat, cruise, and then head up to the track for those who are game, but Sunday works for me, just don't know who else can make Sundays. They are a little harder for some people (including me...but I can usually deal)! I'll PM some of my peeps that don't get on here as much as us C5 junkies!!!

Ok! I've talked to a couple of other folks who are interested, so Sunday the 20th it is!! I think some of us are going to meet-up in town at TGI Friday's first, eat & socialize a little ('cause that track's food is less than good, if you know what I mean), then cruise up to the track together, so if you want some grub before racing....come on over.

The track says it opens at 12 and racing/tuning starts at 1:00, but I've never known them to start on time, so I was thinking we could meet at Friday's at about 11:00 - 11:30, and then probably get to the track around 1:30. It's going to be hot as you-know-what up there by then, so our cars should run nice & slow.....LOL!!! I guess that's the price we pay for living in Florida in the summer, huh?
