Since the Ram brand will represent trucks alone, the Ram logo will no longer be on cars. Dodge has decided that its most creative logo ever is 2 LeMans-style hash marks.

That's right. Dodge's new logo is 2 lines.

This is modern art at its finest.

It gets better. Dodge has decided that these 2 lines won't appear on cars.

In other words, Dodge's new logo for cars will not appear on cars, the only products in the Dodge brand.

Someone's been drinking too much Guinness because this is "brilliant!"

is right. I think Dodge definitely needs to come up with SOMETHING to put on their cars other than their name. I mean, EVERY car company I can think of has its logo on their cars, aside from higher end models such as the Corvette.

Also, it'll take more than a new logo to make Dodge's current line-up look 'sporty'. Need new models ASAP.

it Dodge definitely needs a logo. . . and all car companies have them. . . then why do 50% of the Camaro owners de-badge their cars?

It is not needed. . . the dodge cross grill is their "logo" on cars.

That's a personal choice that a very select few people make. The vast majority of car buyers leave the symbols on, and a symbol helps identify one brand from the next. I suppose they could do something similar to Ford with the blue oval

Doesn't really matter to me anyway, Dodge doesn't currently make anything I would want to drive (other than the viper, but I don't make that kind of money

)

I think you missed the part where those hash marks are the Dodge logo but won't be on Dodge products.

Ram got spun off into its own brand.

Yes, at at time when GM and Ford are selling off and cutting divisions, Chrysler, in all their wisdom, goes and creates a new one.

Dodge and Ram are both Chrysler brands. Ram is just more indepent. Think of Dodge like Chevy without trucks and Ram as GMC, except that both are inferior and run by people who think that 2 lines makes a great logo.
