Hey everyone,

I went and placed my order Saturday for my Black 2SS with Orange Stripes, and today got my order number emailed to me.

The only thing that I found weird was the dealer said " I will email you the pricing once I can get a hold of it, but it should be similar to what you think.".

He wrote on my sheet car will be sold at MSRP. Is there any chance he would try and increase the price now that I ordered it?

Your price is in writing, so it is as solid as a contract. On the same token, the price can not be reduced below MSRP.

Thank you! He also said I am price protected, which is good. Also, I know the cars are going to start being produced in February, but does anyone have any idea when they will begin to hit are dealerships for us to pickup?

FYI...there are dealers selling below MSRP. The first dealer I talked to was selling MSRP less $300.

I emailed 10 dealerships within 100 miles of me to find the best deal. Most were doing mark-ups while a couple said they would do MSRP. I then picked the dealer who I felt was doing it for my best interest. I wish I could find a dealer to support the GM supplier pricing, then I would recant my deposit and go order there. But no such luck...

I also emailed 8 local dealers. . 6 out of the 8 didn't know shit about the camaro. . 1 was charging over MSRP and wouldn't set a price and the one I went with is MSRP.

Yup, I think 95% of the people here either got MSRP or above. I haven't ran into anyone who has gotten lower.

I had a similar situation last week, and they were trying to get me to agree w/ 40k out the door....and said since the pricing was not in their system, it would be around that amount...I said no, I want the window sticker plus fees....and finally got him to write "Agreed to window sticker" and he signed his name...so that should be good enough....

I think the most of us that have it in writing are pretty much safe
