Muffler delete?

Recently installed Loud Mouth II, on a LS3 motor. Looking for more sound, I am considering a muffler delete, but am unsure of any negative side effects of doing so and how to go about it.

Is far as getting the pipes continued out to the rear of the car, I already cut the factory pipe and muffler out to install the Loud Mouth II. I have seen the Loud Mouth I, but it seems over priced to me for what you get.

Is there a kit out there specifically for muffler delete?

Thanks Jesse

None that I know of. You just need to find a good muffler/exhaust shop in your area willing to do it for you. I would try to find one that has a mandrel pipe-bending machine though so you don't lose flow by crimping the pipe. I had mine done for $150 and my guy did it in one hour, re-using my stock tips. If you want it really loud, remove the stock resonarors (if you haven't already from installing the Loudmouth II). That'll remove more restrictions and free up some ponies as well, so I've heard.

Magnaflow 16582

The Magnaflow 16582 is a mandrel bent, 2.5" diameter, axle-back muffler delete with 5" stainless steel tips. I installed this system on my car and love it.

Some may complain about the popping on decel, but not me.

With what you have already cut off of your stock system to install the Loudmouth system, you still have excess pipe to where you would have to cut the system again to install the Magnaflow. So yes, it would work for you!

Here's a pic...

Huh... I'm thinking this and an X-pipe might be awesome .

I would stick with the loudmouth 2. Its a really nice exhaust. If you want more sound get a set of long tube headers.

I did the muffler delete (L99) for $100 and so far have been really happy with the sound. There is a little drone when AFM kicks in, but if you're running the LS3 you shouldn't have a problem.

would deleting the rear cats make things louder? I know it wouldn't throw codes but could it void warranty removing rear cats?
