Hi everyone,

Just wanted to take a quick moment to say hi guys. I ordered a 2011 2lt rs sw and i live in hamilton Ontario. I just got word friday that my financing has gone through. FUN!

So, it looks like its a Camaro

Anyway, does anyone know when they start Canadian production? Also, I was given a 6 digit code (i think). Does anyone know when or how I can check that?

Now my i ask what do you mean with regards to Canadian production ?? We are now building 2011's for both USA & Canada . Your 6 digit code is your very own order number , it is assigned to your Camaro and will be with it from now until final roll-off . As you get further along towards your TPW you'll be able to track its progress . Hope that helps and best regards from your Oshawa build team.

I was told that there were different dates for USA orders verse Canadian ones. Maybe that was wrong?

Also, what is a TPW? how will i know when i can track it?

Now that you have an order number you can call GM Canada to track the progress of your car. Call 1-800-263-3777 option 5 and they will be able to give you information on your order.

TPW is Target Production Week - that is the week they expect to actually build your car.

Hey Agent, I am from Beamsville! (20 mins from you... google it)

I ordered a 2011 BLK 2LT/RS A6 on 05/11/10. I waited a while and last wednesday I called 1-800-GM-DRIVE with my 6 character order number: NZJV**, and confirmed a TPW of 06/07/10!

The rep told me to call back on Friday to see where it is at, and get a rough idea of when I will be getting it! I suggest you call that number and get your TPW!

Congrats on the purchase! And maybe I'll see ya around lol

From what I read, 6/7 was the first week of production for the 2011's. For the 2010's, they rolled off 440 of these beauties on a daily basis.

Sit back, relax and start reading through the thousands of topics in here. There is so much information, there in nothing you can't find in here for your new Camaro. We anxiously await photos when you baby arrives.

right on guys! i just tried to call that number thinking (hoping) that it was automated. sadly, it was not. hehe. i will call first thing tomorrow.

I know they sent my order and i got my NZD*** number on the 5/18/2010.

I am soooo excited.

ps i cant believe how much cheaper cars are in the states!
