I HIGHLY recommend the Ram clutch. I don't sell them.. Just very happy with it after smoking a different twin disk.

ZR-1 AT ADMPERFORMANCE OR LPE!!!!

BTW-LPE Uses the ZR-1 in their race car camaro that lays down 138+ mph in the 1/4.

They also use it in their ZR-1 that runs 9's in the 1/4

It is also the same clutch we held over 1000 hp and torque with!!!!!

It is the most forgiving clutch out there, and if I told you what the disc and pressure plate cost you would say no way!

The flywheel is the key!!!!

ACT offers a wide range of street-friendly to race-ready twin-disc kits with torque capacities from 850-1450 lbs/ft of torque. PM me for pricing.

I saw a nice write up on centerforces in Chevy High Performance Magazine. It's seems like a great street/strip clutch.

If you have the bank, then an RPS BC2 is hands down the best twin you will find. You may crap your pants when you see what they cost, though... If you plan to drag race, it's the best. It will slip if you want it to, and it will bite hard if you want it to. The other advantage is the carbon material works to your advantage on launching, as it actually clutches to help get your 60' down. Carbon doesn't wear near as fast as organic/metallic materials, either, plus it can't warp. It's just obnoxiously expensive. You can find one for about $2000 if you hunt, but you will never have to change your clutch again.

You need a good tuner who can set up a very aggressive idle control strategy, because the clutch weighs significantly less than stock.

Here's a good write-up:

MSRP is not what anybody pays unless they're a sucker. Still expensive, for sure.

Mine is just fine on the street. It actually has less chatter than my stock clutch ever did. It makes noise in neutral with your foot off the pedal, though, but that's pretty normal for twins.

I saw the saw the same write up so i bought and had the centerforce installed. it feels better than stock. its not hard on the foot. It also holds up to 1200 pds of torque.

The LPE ZR-1 clutch is the one you want.. no chatter, no fuss.

It just works, and takes the abuse!

There are about a dozen of us on the LPE F/I thread that have it and everyone is very satisfied with it.

Will that work in a v6?
