I really don't have the necessary experience in doing this, but I do remember when I blew up my rear end in my Trans Am a long time ago. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but more than a few people who's opinions I respected, told me that there is alot more to doing a rear end (properly) than meets the eye. So I ended up just bolting on an entire axle from a slightly newer T/A...it was nice.

swapping the parts out isnt all that difficult. shimming it properly and aligning the gears so that they mesh properly.... thats the fun part

They are running about $780 for people in the lower 48. 4.10s is a M6 will end up running about 2000 rpm at 70-75 mph.
