I have only been driving a manual transmission for about a year now and am getting ready to buy a 1LT M6 Camaro. I was curious if anyone knows how much it would cost to replace the clutch whenever it goes bad. I am trying to calculate some future costs before I make the biggest purchase of my life.

An absolutely horrible driver, who just burns threw every gear could get at least 40k... There are wayyyyy more things to worry about besides the clutch. Tires prices for example are something to worry about.

Probably between $500 and $1000. Assuming you don't race a lot, you should expect your clutch to last at least 60K miles, possibly over 100K with a lot of highway miles.

Mine is only 13.5k and I already need a new one, dealership is trying to say that it's a wear item so they dont have to cover it... kinda blows. -- I drive it fine, I missed a gear one time and got a hint of a bad smell, wouldn't think that would of killed it...
