Interior/Exterior Combo...thoughts? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've ordered a 2SS/RS and got the Red Jewel Tintcoat for the exterior and went with the beige for the interior.

GM on the ordering workbook recommended it for the 2LT and thought yeah, let me get that but on the 2SS...now I'm thinking I should go black on the interior?

Thoughts?

What color again is the panel inserts? And to clarify...does the 2SS have the interior lighting and only in a light blue to match the gauges?

Ugh!! Which interior to go with!! Also...what stripes would look best with beige or balck interior!!!

Too much to think about!!

Also...will I be able to see the beige interior from the V6 production and still have time to change my order if I don't like it?

I'm a bit fan of beige interiors, but with the ambient lighting, black will probably look better

Yeah I like the combo but worried about the lighting and the insert panels?

Still want to see it and be able to say yes or no before mine goes to production!!

Black for me. I almost bought a Vet this summer but it had Beige interior and the wife didnt like the way it blended with the black door panels. Bummer, but I did see her point,

Good point - if the camaro has black front or rear door / side pannels, then definitely black... sounds like you really need some pics to make a decision brah!

Yeah I need to see the beige before going final...I'm #3 on the list at the dealer so she's in, ordered and I'm getting one...just need to see the 2LT first and then either stick it out or change it to black!

When is the first V6 rolling out?

Go with black. Trust me--been there, done that. Beige is a b*tch to keep clean, esp. leather in that color. Plus, I can't see blue ambient lighting blending well w/ beige. Maybe orange or red (if offered, hint hint).

I really would like to see the beige interior first but I'm starting to think a trip back to the dealer Monday will be on my agenda...change to black!

Honestly...glad to have an option!

Yeah I think that was just a rumor, and that they would be produced at about the same time. You could be correct though, but I doubt it since I'll bet GM wants to get their top-dogs out on the streets to make an impression on people asap.

My color combination right now is a dark red exterior w/ the beige leather interior and its a wonderful look (IMHO). But, the lighting might be an issue, as has been stated. If you're keeping the lights blue then I'd go with a black interior (despite the heat).

I can't think of any color lights that would really "go" with a beige interior (which is a real shame).
