Red face Ticking sounds when engine is on?

When the car is turned on there is a ticking sounds that can be heard outside and inside the car. Sounds like a clock. Anything to worry about?

Your engine is direct injected. The clicking or ticking sound comes from the injectors and fuel pump.

Yea I just picked mine up and noticed the same issue. I was like what the... GM came out with a bulletin saying all it is the High pressure fuel pump, it ticks rapidly at start and when at idle it ticks about once per second.

does it sounds like "search" "search" search"?

Seriously, it is normal like Milk said....injectors. Nothing to worry about. Enjoy the car.
