I just installed a k&n cia and i'm getting a whistle while i accelerate, anyone else have this problem, if so is there a fix, sounds like i have a birds nest in my car!!

Thats normal. Its just your engine getting some fresh air.

i have the Injen, and i get that sound aroun 2k RPM, i really like it, it actually sounds like a turbo with no BOV

sounds horrible with my exhaust, not really a whine with the engine, just doesn't sound right.

It it all across the RPM range or at a certain RPM? Double check you're connections, make sure they are snug.

Go back and recheck all the connections are good and tight, might be the vent line to the valve cover. I have the K&N CAI also, with out any abnormal sounds. Usually a whistling sound is an air leak between the air filter and the engine.

Yep, every CAI I have known does that. I have the Injen installed on mine and every time I floor it, it sounds like its whistling Dixie!!

seems to be a certain rpm, i'm gonna re check, the only thing it could be is the small hose from the adapter, it's plastic screwed onto a brass fitting, hose didn't seem perfect but it looked good, i checked before i started it.

yeah, they all whistle a bit, my k&n does it, my AFE intake did it on my 05 Hemi powered Ram.
