hi guys. my dealers allocation was 9 and i had number 17. well i got a call today saying theyre allocation has been increased and they had more than enough to fill my order. did this happen to anyone elses dealer?

thats unusual, maybe they estimated 9 and just got their official # or something?

either way- if u fit on the first allotment

the dealers name is my chevrolet in salinas, ca. yea im pretty stoked i thought i was gonna have to wait ffoorreevveerrr

Anyone notice that at Chevy launch it no longer shows the dealer's allocation it now says contact District Manager.
Maybe there is some truth to this did allocation change??

I would be willing to bet it's because BAC numbers have gotten out and they don't want the general public knowing dealer info....too late!!!!

OOH! Man, that would be GREAT if allocation went up! I know a couple people who would jump on that in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!

It could be too that people higher up on the list changed their mind when the time came to order....we've had a couple of those.

The dealer I ordered from up here in Canada last week said they originally had 6 which was then increased to 8.

Man i must be the biggest camaro fanatic in Salinas!! dealer called me today and confirmed my order and told me i got bumped to number 1 and even faxed me my workbench number!! man is it February yet????

Courtest Chevrolet in san jose ca, on gmlaunches showed 17 but he told me they actaully had more, but also due to los gatos, ca dealership closing 2 months ago

If I read somewhere correctly there were 20,000 allocations done. And in September there were 60 GM dealers that closed shop so maybe some of those allocations are being diverted to other dealers now? 20,000 allocations seems like a ton seeing that number was from production til September if I read correctly? Are they really going to produce 20,000 Camaro's in about 6 months?

Maybe the initial surge has ended. We all know the first several thousand came from die hard enthausists. What's the total of orders NOW. The last noticed we have reported "6000".

My dealer had nine allocations for the first 5 months of production (I have his first 2) and as of today he only has four orders.
