Went and test drove a 2010 Camaro SS yesterday....

It was a 1SS, Inferno Orange, Automatic.....I have been in love with the car since they came out, and have been kicking myself for not waiting a few months when I needed a car and bought my Malibu. But I LOVED the Camaro, it was awesome, I was very surprised with the ride and handeling, and it had as much power as my old 1988 Camaro drag car that I built...I had a sales guy with me so I didn't get into it to much, but it was nice. Now I am mad at my self cause I want one more than ever now. But I am upside down on my 2008 Malibu right now, since I was upside down on the car I traded in on it, and do not feel like perpetuating the cycle anymore. But the Camaro will be my next car when I actually have equitty in my Malibu....great car.

Been there done that as well and I learned a serious lesson from it all and one that lasted for six years and is almost over. I could tell you my story but I would rather not, lets just say it would make you feel pretty good about yourself and being upside down on a trade in. I am almost out of my car payments that I am upside down on especially my 02 Avalanche(paid off in November) and my wifes car will be paid off in November of nest year. It has screwed me pretty bad over the last six years and several times we have almost gotten to the point of just having the cars repoed but somehow or another we managed to pull through and now we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I WILL have a down payment saved up for the Camaro, I WILL keep my Avalanche for hauling things. Through this serious lesson I learned how to be more prudent with my finances although it got really tough, and let me tell you this.......If I can pull through my situation I know for sure you can pull through yours. Hang in there and your Camaro will be there before you know it. I want a Camaro so bad right now I can taste it, several times now I have felt like just taking my truck in and trading it in on one, but luckily my wife is there for me and pretty much sets me straight and reminds me of our struggles. Since we sold my 68 she has sworn up and down to me that we WILL be getting my Camaro and if I wait then I will get the one that I really want which is a ragtop loaded out(havent made my mind up yet if it is going to be a V6 or V8, kinda leaning towards the V6)
I am living proof that anyone can make through financial hell so hang in there and just let it happen and come to you in the long run.
Juat my two cents.
