NorCal Santa Cruz Cruise (7/24/10) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well it's about time for another NorCal cruise. Our last one was a lot of fun, and hopefully we'll have more cars this time. It won't be an eventful weekend for places that we're driving by so there should be less traffic as well. Here's a preliminary itinerary. We will hopefully be stopping by a specific restaurant that might be able to block off their parking lot so that we have a bunch of spots all together for a nice dinner.

Plan is to meet at 10am, leaving by 10:30.

First stop is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I will call and see if we can get some parking spots blocked off here as well. This will be a nice relaxing cruise down PCH from 84 which will offer great views of the ocean. If we can find a spot large enough, we might pull over and take some shots of the group with the ocean as the backdrop. We arrive in Santa Cruz and spend a few hours at the boardwalk, then we will decide on a place to get dinner on the way back up 17 to 85 to 101N to the starting point. Below is an image of the route we will be taking. Please let me know if you will be coming by voting in the poll up top.

sounds interesting... wish I would of known sooner, my lady and I already are gonna be there the week before lol. maybe we can make it back the following week? count me as a maybe =D

Not sure I am in or not. I believe that is the weekend of the Garlic Festival. I will double check and let you know.

You are correct Gary. Looks like we'll be taking 45 to 84 down to 1 instead.
