SOLO-Performance Catback Exhaust at MTI Racing

MTI Racing is now stocking SOLO_Performance catback exhaust systems for the 5th Gen Camaro. There are two different systems, MACH-X which is designed for the manuel LS3 and the MACH-XL that is designed for the L99 automatic. Check out the descriptions below for all the details.

MACH-X
Solo Performance is proud to introduce our cat-back direct bolt-on Mach-X Exhaust Kit to Camaro enthusiasts. The Mach-X kit is engineered for the 6.2L V8 manual Camaro. This kit uses 2.5" mandrel-bent T-409 stainless steel pipes with our T-304 stainless steel Mach-X muffler. The muffler was designed and engineered differently than most other mufflers. It is an X style muffler. The inner compartment (not the flow thru X but the side compartments) is split into four different chambers, each with ceramic fiber and stainless steel wool packing. It is a true "X" design and creates a low pressure system, while the four side chambers ensure that the packing won't break apart and change the sound and efficiency over the years. It is a dual 2.5" in and 2.5" out design. GM needed to get around some clearance issues and had some flat spots in the exhaust. Our design has eliminated all flat spots and is a mirror-image design, unlike the GM factory system. The differential gave GM a hard time accomplishing this, but we painstakingly have. The tips are 4.5" round, T304 stainless steel double-walled and beveled, cut on an angle to compliment the rear fascia.

MACH-XL
Solo Performance is proud to offer our direct bolt-on Mach-XL exhaust kit for the L99 Camaro.
u8232 The Mach-XL exhaust kit for your 2010 Automatic L99 Camaro has 2 ½” mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust pipes all the way from your converters back. Solo’s 14” Mach-XL muffler is used to deepen the sound (28 decibel over stock) and add responsiveness to the car. The 4 cylinder mode on the automatic Camaro’s can cause a severe drone but not with Solo’s Mach-XL exhaust kit. This is a no drone exhaust system. The smooth, deep sound is best described as “Pure American Muscle.” The sound of power stays primarily outside the car where it needs to be. You can certainly hear when the car changes from 8 cyl to 4 cyl mode, but there is no drone and you can hold a conversation with absolutely no extra effort. The interior cabin sounds beautiful on acceleration and quiet while cruising. Solo’s T-304 Stainless Steel 4.5” tips finish off the Mach-XL in the style befitting this retro yet futuristic, soon to be classic, automobile.To accommodate the GFX kit, we offer rectangular tips with these kits.
