Should I buy?

I am thinking of buying a 2SS. I currently drive a CTS. /i am looking for some honest feedback on the 2SS. I am also going to add some horsepower if I get one. Looking at Hennessy or Lingenfelter something along that line. Any comments on that would also be welcomed.

Do it! I have mine as a daily driver and the extra costs aren't that much compared to the 2LT I used to own. I get an average of 18.6 MPG with about 75% highway driving. Simply put, the car is just plain fun to drive. Best car I've ever driven in terms of quality. Top notch and seems to be built to last.

Definitely go with the 2SS over the 1SS because the extra amenities are totally worth it.

CTS-V maybe?

Just keep reading the forum, I'm sure you'll find plenty (more than you could have dreamed) opinionated and quite biased views, ain't that right mikeSS? (Mustang? c'mon, he doesn't want to get laughed at!)

can we get some actual real world driving/road racing numbers? seriously skid pad and slalom numbers don't tell the whole story. and none of this perceived BS. I can drive a car and think I'm flying when in reality I'm only doing 30 in the mountains when I can hop in another car think it's slower and end up doing 50+ around the corners. not like I would break the law. but it's been well documented that a lot of cars that are fun to drive aren't really as fast as they feel. once a clock is used to time a run through a course. (not the 1320).

also can-o-worms, better deal? for a car that when i go to mod I'm going to have to crack open the piggy bank even farther to increase power and such. better deal in the eyes of the beholder. . .not in my book.

i am telling him the better deal..... you get more with the GT period.... the gt is faster. and in every test even the 2010s GTs handles better then the challenger and camaro... i mean it only makes sense... its lighter.. smaller... now it has 400+ hp and weighs like 3600 pounds... like 150-200 pounds lighter then the camaro.... come on people
accept the fact that theres a better car out

the mustang is like a sports/muscle car... the camaro is just a muscle car.. is you want the best bang for you buck its the mustang...

at the time the camaro was the thing to get... now its the mustang... it always changes thats life.... something new and better always comes out...

I agree with mikeSS..... but in the end, I prefered the look of the Camaro, and went with a 2011 Red Jewel 2SS....
